It's been a very busy period for our Major Projects department. Such is the nature of building high quality custom superyachts that after a lengthy build time at Silver Yachts Henderson facility, the much anticipated superyacht Bold was launched and Taylor Marine were soon able to start commissioning and sea trials.
An extensive Navigation and Communication suite was supplied, installed and commissioned by Taylor Marine's Major Projects team. Successful sea trials were soon underway with hand-over being complete in July.
The 85m exploration vessel has a top speed of 24 knots and cruising speed of 18 knots for up to 5,000 nautical miles.
Bold can accommodate up to 16 guests in master suites, 3 VIP cabins on the upper deck and 4 other cabins on the lower deck. A total of 21 crew are accommodated across 9 crew and staff cabins.

I’ve always been fascinated by explorer yachts, but the 85m Bold is truly on another level compared to the traditional luxury vessels you usually see. The sheer scale of that aft deck is incredible, especially considering it’s designed to carry everything from a helicopter to multiple tenders.
